Description
This is a barn and farm buildings located approximately 60 meters east of Middle Park Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. The structure is built from limestone rubble with brick quoins and features old plain-tile roofs. It has a three-bay plan, with the barn featuring central opposed full-height doors and slits in the outer bays. The barn has a half-hipped roof. To the left, there is a lower range that includes a cartshed, which extends to the left of the farmyard as an eight-bay open-fronted cattle shelter; two of these bays have been infilled with weatherboarding. The rear wall of the shelter displays a brick dentil eaves course. Inside, the barn has queen-post trusses, while the shelter has king-post trusses and a wooden manger. This building is included for its group value.
