Description
This is a barn located approximately 40 meters southeast of Old Park Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with extensions made in the late 18th to early 19th century. The barn features weatherboarded timber framing set on a high limestone rubble plinth, with rubble end walls that have squared quoins. It has an old plain-tile roof and a four-bay plan that has been extended to eight bays. There are full-height opposed doors in the second and sixth bays from the right, with the four bays to the right being the earlier section. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, the barn has a clasped-purlin roof supported by short elbowed under-principals. The structure forms an L-shaped range with the stables nearby.
