Description

Wick Farmhouse barn, located approximately 40 meters to the north, is a barn dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features weatherboarded timber framing set on a limestone rubble plinth, topped with a corrugated sheet roof. The barn has a six-bay plan with doors on opposite sides, although the side walls are now largely obscured. One end wall is made of rubble with a weatherboarded gable, and the roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a clasped-purlin roof supported by short curved under-principals and double bracing beneath the tie beams. The barn is included for its group value.
