Description

Snail Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some 19th-century replacement of timber. It features a rubble stone plinth and irregular timber framing with painted brick infill, topped by a thatch roof. There is a 19th-century brick stack located to the right of the centre. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. A plank door is positioned on the left return, with a three-light casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. A swept dormer is located on the right side. The interior has not been inspected. There is also a late 19th-century single-storey addition to the right, made of painted brick and covered with a Welsh slate roof.
