Description

Wellsprings House is a late 17th-century house located in Brightwell Cum Sotwell. The construction combines banded limestone and knapped flint with red brick dressings, topped with a mid-20th century plain-tile roof. A brick ridge stack is centrally positioned. The house follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and extends over two storeys with an attic. It presents a three-window front. The central entrance features a four-panel part-glazed door with a lean-to hood. Ground-floor windows are three-light casements with segmental brick heads, appearing on both the left and right sides. A flat brick band delineates the ground and first floors. A single-pane window is located centrally on the first floor, flanked by three-light casements. Various datestones are incorporated into the first floor facade. The interior remains uninspected.
