Description

This is a small house dating from the 17th century. It is located on The Green in Chalgrove. The house originally comprised two units, as it was formerly listed with numbers 1, 3 and 4. The construction is timber framing with a half-hipped thatched roof, and a brick ridge stack. The original plan consisted of two bays. The house has one storey. The front contains a 20th-century plank door with a bracketed pentice, alongside a 20th-century light to the right. A colourwashed limestone rubble outshut is located on the front right. A one-storey extension dating to the 20th century is situated to the right. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to contain features of interest.
