Description

4 The Green is a house dating from the early 17th century. It features small timber framing with herringbone brick infill and a rendered wall on the right side. The house has a gabled thatch roof and a brick ridge stack. It is designed with a three-unit plan and consists of one storey and an attic, with a four-window range. The doors, which are made of planks, date from the late 19th century and have bracketed pentices above the left and centre entrances. The windows are also late 19th century casements, including half dormer casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
