Description

Two dwellings, now a house, were built in the late 17th century and remodelled in the mid 19th century. Originally timber-framed, exposed framing remains visible at the rear. The front of the building is colourwashed brick with some limestone rubble, and the right side wall is colourwashed limestone rubble. The roof is thatched with a brick end stack and a double ridge stack. The building follows a three-unit plan and has one storey and an attic, with a three-window front. A timber lintel sits above a 20th-century door. Timber lintels and a segmental arch are above the 20th-century casement windows, with similar half-dormer casements in the attic. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
