Description
Bridge End Cottages are three cottages that may have originally been a single house, dating from the 17th century, with an early 18th-century addition on the left and a late 18th-century addition on the right. The cottages feature large timber framing with brick infill in the center, red brick with random flared headers on the left in irregular bond, and red brick with random flared headers on the right in Flemish bond. They have a thatched roof and a brick end stack on the left with a 20th-century rebuilt top, as well as a ridge stack to the right of center. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. There are two plank doors to the left of center, a three-light leaded casement window with a segmental brick head and keystone to the left, a two-light leaded casement in the center, and a three-light leaded casement to the right. On the first floor, there are three two-light leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected.
