Description

The water tower at Shiplake College, located approximately 90 metres north-west of the main building, was constructed around 1899 by architect Ernest George. It is built of brick with decorative flint panels and features a plain tile roof. The structure has a square plan with an octagonal stair turret. The ground floor has 20th-century doors, while the stair turret is topped with a hipped roof and has arched openings. Additionally, there is a dovecote located at the gable of the main roof.
