Description
Tudor Cottage at Shiplake College is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with early 20th century alterations, possibly by E. George. It features a flint base with brick dressings, a timber frame with rendered infill, and an old plain tile roof with brick end stacks. The front faces the church and the building has one storey and an attic, with a two-window range. There are three 20th century casements on the ground floor and two gabled three-light dormers in the roof. The entrance is at the rear. The left-hand return reveals a queen post roof construction. The interior has not been inspected.
