Description

Riverside Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of flint, brick, and rubble, with some parts rendered and whitewashed. The cottage has a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side, with a rendered stack on the right. It has two storeys and features a three-window range. The upper floor has two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the ground floor includes 19th-century two-light cast-iron casements with glazing bars set under segmental brick heads. There is a 20th-century part-glazed door located second from the left, along with 20th-century extensions on both the left and right sides.

Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered timber bressummer.
