Description
The Cottage Bar to the Little White Hart Hotel, located at No 25, features a 19th-century facade that covers an earlier building. It is constructed of color-washed brick and has an old tiled roof. The structure is two stories tall and consists of five bays, with an additional northern bay that previously had a carriageway entrance, which is now bricked up. The windows are unbarred sashes with cambered head linings, although one window is blank. The doors are recessed. The northern part of The Cottage includes a dormer window and a corbelled brick eaves cornice. The southern side wall is plastered. Nos 25 to 29 form part of a group with No 88 New Street and the courtyard surface behind No 88 and No 1 Wharf Lane.
