Description

No. 81 High Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, with remodeling from the early 18th century. It features colourwashed Flemish bond brick on a flint base, while the left gable wall is timber-framed. The house has a gabled thatched roof and a brick stack at the right end. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. The windows have chamfered timber lintels and include late 19th to early 20th century casements, with three-light casements on the first floor. The entrance is located in a 20th-century rear extension. Inside, there are chamfered beams.
