Description

The Wool Warehouse, located adjoining Jasmine Cottage, is an early 18th-century structure that has undergone some rebuilding in the early 20th century. The building is primarily constructed of red brick, featuring some flared brick in English bond on the left side, with early 20th-century red brick on the right. It has a plain-tile roof and consists of two storeys and an attic, arranged in a four-bay range. The main elevation faces the rear and includes a central sliding door. To the left, there are two nine-light windows with segmental brick heads, and a flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors on that side. The first floor features double, part-glazed doors at the center and two three-light casements with leaded lights to the left. A gabled full dormer, which may have been a former hoist, is located at the center and has two rows of casements. The interior has not been inspected. To the right of the Wool Warehouse is a 19th-century warehouse, also made of red brick, with an old plain-tile, two-span, Queen-post roof.
