Description

Kates Cottage is a house located on the west side of The Street in Moulsford, dating from the mid-18th century, with a 20th-century addition to the right. The cottage features a flint base and irregular timber framing with red brick infill, topped by an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. It is two stories high and has a three-window range that is set at right angles to the street. There is a plank door to the right, with two-light leaded wood casements in the center and a four-light leaded wood casement to the left. The first floor has a central gabled half-dormer with a two-light wood casement, as well as two-light casements to the left and right. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
