Description

Grace Cottages is an 18th-century house located on the west side of The Street in Hartlip. The building is constructed of chequered brick with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high with an attic, featuring two gabled dormers and brick stacks positioned to the left, right, and at the rear centre. The windows are regularly spaced, with four glazing bar sash windows on each floor. The ground-floor windows have segmental heads. A central door, consisting of six raised and fielded panels, is set within a 19th-century gabled porch. The property was originally listed, under the name Chapel Cottages, as numbers 1-4 on 6 August 1973.
