Description

Barrows Cottages comprise a 16th-century house, later divided into a pair of cottages. The building was re-rendered in the 18th century with chequered brick, and is covered by a plain tiled roof. It has a lobby entry plan. The two storeys are topped by a hipped roof with a stack to the left and a catslide outshot to the left. The first floor has three wooden casement windows and a single light window towards the centre, while the ground floor has three wooden casement windows with segmental heads. A boarded door with a gabled hood on brackets is located to the left, and a boarded door with a segmental head is to the right.
