Description

Stepp House is a house that dates from the 15th to 17th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed, with plaster and red brick infill, and has a plain tiled roof. The building has a lobby entry range with a cross-wing. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, with the cross-wing on the right side displaying a returned first-floor jetty supported by carved dragon beams. The roofs are hipped, and there is a central stack towards the right. On the first floor, there are three leaded wood casements, with the one on the right in the cross-wing accompanied by sidelights. The ground floor has two metal casements and a segmental bay window to the right in the cross-wing. A plank and stud door is located to the centre-right of the building.
