Description

The building is a house, dating to the 16th and 18th centuries. It is timber framed and clad with plaster, with a red brick base and painted brick additions. The roof is thatched, with a tiled pentice to the chimney stack. The house has a lobby entry plan. It is two storeys high, built on a plinth. The roof is hipped on the right, with stacks positioned centrally and at the end to the right. A large, free-standing stack with ovens and a pentice is located to the left, with a thatched red brick outshot extending from it. The wall plate of the main building projects to the left on an arched brace, indicating that the remaining structure is likely the end wing of a larger building. There are three wooden casement windows on each floor. A boarded door with a segmental head is situated to the right, within an 18th century addition.
