Description
Pye Corner is a house, likely dating from the mid-17th century. The lower portion of the building is constructed from flint and brick, with the upper portion featuring exposed timber framing and brick infill, with a panel of knapped flint on the ground floor to the left of centre and rendered panels on the first floor to the left and left of centre. The roof is tiled and hipped to the right, with brick stacks positioned to the left and right of centre. The building is two storeys high, with a two-window front facing the street at a right angle. A 20th-century door is located on the right return. Windows are 2-light leaded wood casements throughout. The left return, which faces the road, has a ground floor of knapped flint with brick dressings, and a first floor with timber framing and brick infill. A Queen-post roof truss is visible in the gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
