Description

No. 63 Market Place is an early 19th-century building featuring a red brick facade, a modillion eaves cornice, and a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which are recessed sashes with glazing bars. The western first-floor window is an Edwardian canted oriel bay. The central entrance door has six fielded panels and a round-headed radial fanlight with an archivolt, and the door is recessed. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 35 to 63 (odd), the Town Hall, Nos. 50 and 52, and Nos. 62 to 66 (even).
