Description
Bramley House is an 18th-century building located on Gravel Hill. It features a roughcast facade with a parapet, and although the roof is not visible, the structure stands three storeys tall with two windows that have sashes and glazing bars. At the western end, there is a two-storey canted bay window and a six-fielded panelled door with a hood supported by brackets. The raised pavement and wall are part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 19 (odd), the South Oxfordshire Technical College Old School and Main Buildings, Nos 43 to 49 (odd), and the wall and gate piers of the former Paradise House. Ancastle Cottage, Nos 2 to 36 (even), and the pavement surface in front of Nos 2 to 36 (even) opposite also contribute to this group, along with the entrance walls, piers, gates, and the lower lodge of Friar Park.
