Description
The southern of a pair of gate piers, located approximately 15 meters west of the Church of St. Katherine, is an 18th-century structure made of limestone ashlar. This square pier features a scroll-topped side strip and a ball finial set on a concave base. It is likely built around the same time as the church, which was constructed in 1762 for Charles Peers. This gate pier is included for its group value with the church.
