Description
The South Gatepier, located approximately 30 metres east of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, is a gatepier likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rusticated ashlar and has a square section with a squat pyramidal cap. This gatepier is one of a pair that flanks the approach to the church.
