Description

The K6 telephone kiosk located outside the entrance gateway to St Mary's Church in Congerstone is a notable example of early 20th-century design. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, this cast iron kiosk features a square shape with a domed roof. It includes unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and door. The kiosk was produced by various contractors.
