Description
Gopsall House Farmhouse is a house that was formerly the dower house to Gopsall Park, which has since been demolished. It dates from around 1740 and is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a first-floor band and a rubbed brick eaves cornice. The front has a regular arrangement of windows in a 1:3:1 pattern, with a central projection that has a pediment. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes, with segmental heads. There is a round window in the tympanum of the pediment and two flat-topped, corniced dormers. At the rear, there are two gables with a central recess. The left return front has two storeys and two bays. The interior has been modernised.
