Description

The Hollies is a house dating from the late 18th century, with extensions added in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof along with tall brick end stacks. The building has two storeys, a low plinth, and a moulded brick eaves cornice. The front facade is symmetrical with three windows, which are tall casements set in segment-headed surrounds. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door within an arched surround, flanked by reeded pilasters that support volute brackets and a cornice hood. Above the door is a Gothic glazed fanlight.
