Description

Chiselhampton Bridge is a bridge that likely dates from the late 16th century. It was partly rebuilt after the Civil War and widened in the 20th century. The structure is made of limestone rubble with squared dressings and some ashlar at the lower level. The east face features irregularly spaced triangular cutwaters and eight elliptical arches. The parapet and the entire west face were constructed in the 20th century.
