Description
This is a cartshed located approximately 45 meters northeast of Upper Chalford Farmhouse. It was built in the early 18th century, although the outer walls were added in the early 20th century. The main structure features early 18th-century posts with early 20th-century light framing and weatherboarding, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The building is single-storey and consists of a four-bay range. There are plank stable doors on the left and right of the center, and a four-pane window in the middle. The roof is supported by a queen-post structure. This cartshed is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
