Description

Kidmore House is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features a flint base with grey brick and red brick dressings, topped by a plain tile roof and brick stacks. The building is two stories high with an attic and has a five-window range. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a fanlight, flanked by Doric pilasters that support a segmental pediment. All openings have 12-pane unhorned sash windows. There is a flat brick band between the ground and first floors, as well as below the eaves, which are adorned with a dentil cornice. The house includes two gabled dormers and a hipped roof, with internal stacks located at the left and right returns. Inside, the house features a contemporary staircase and three panelled rooms.
