Description
Well Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century brick encasement. The ground floor is constructed of brick, while the upper part features a timber frame with brick infill. It has a plain tile roof and a brick chimney stack. The building is single storey with an attic and has a five-window range. The windows on the ground floor are irregularly arranged and consist of 19th-century metal casements. There is a cross-gable at the center with a queen post roof truss and a three-light 19th-century casement. A gabled dormer is located to the left, and the roof is hipped to the left. A 17th-century brick ridge stack is positioned to the left of center, and there is a queen post roof truss at the right-hand return gabled end. The main entrance is located at the rear of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
