Description

Portways Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of English bond brick and features a gabled old tile roof with symmetrical brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a symmetrical two-window facade. The windows have segmental brick arches above them, and there is a 20th-century door. Additionally, there are two late 19th-century dormers, each with two-light casements. Inside, the cottage has chamfered beams.
