Description

No 46, known as Magnolia Cottage, is an early 19th century facade of a timber-framed house located on Northfield End. The exterior features painted brick and a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and four windows, primarily casements, with some reproduction windows. At the rear, the timber framing is exposed in the gable end of a two-storey wing, which has an old tiled roof. Magnolia Cottage, along with its former coach house, Easby House and its former coach house, and Nos 70 to 84 (even), forms a group with No 45 and Meeting House Cottage, as well as Nos 51 to 61 (odd) and Portland Cottage with its garden wall opposite.
