Description

Easby House is an early 19th-century building made of red brick, featuring a wide bracketed eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof. The house has two storeys and dormers, with three windows that have gauged flat arches and sashes with late 19th-century glazing. A central porch supported by Tuscan columns leads to the door, which includes a fanlight. There are modern additions to the side of the house that are not listed. Easby House, along with No 46 Magnolia Cottage, its former coach house, and Nos 70 to 84 (even), forms a group with No 45 and Meeting House Cottage, as well as Nos 51 to 61 (odd) Portland Cottage and its garden wall opposite.
