Description

French's Cottage is a house dated 1779, located on the north side of Long Wittenham High Street. It features a first floor made of Flemish bond red brick with some grey headers, and has an old plain-tile roof with brick end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a plank door with a segmental brick head above it. On either side of the door, there are three-light wood casements, also with segmental brick heads. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors. On the first floor, there are two additional three-light wood casements. The interior has not been inspected.
