Description

Elm Close House is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Long Wittenham High Street. It features a limestone rubble base with large timber framing and brick infill, including some rendered panels. The roof is thatched and hipped to the right, while the left side has an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped. There is a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a four-window range. A plank door is located with an open porch to the right of the center, and the windows exhibit irregular fenestration of casements. There is a raking dormer on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
