Description

Challis Farmhouse is probably of mid-17th century origin. It is constructed of rendered brick, with an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The farmhouse is single-storey with an attic, and has a two-window front. A four-panelled part-glazed door is centrally positioned, with a flat hood above. There are three-light wooden casement windows to the left and right. Gabled half-dormers are positioned on the left and right sides of the roof. A single-storey addition is present to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
