Description
These stables, located approximately 5 meters north of Manor Farmhouse, date from the early 18th century. They are constructed from knapped flint and coursed limestone rubble, accented with red brick dressings, and feature an old plain-tile half-hipped roof. The building is two stories high and has an eight-window range. It includes eight stable and sliding doors, each with segmental brick heads, as well as eight cast-iron casements also topped with segmental brick heads. There are three plank doors on the first floor and a dentil brick course at the eaves. A gabled dormer is positioned to the left of center. The interior has not been inspected. The stables are included in the listing for their group value with the nearby farmhouse.
