Description
These stables, located approximately 30 meters southeast of Copsestile Farmhouse, likely date from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick with limestone rubble panels and features an old plain-tile half-hipped roof. It is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. There are five stable doors and 20th-century wooden casements, all topped with segmental brick heads. To the left of center, there is a gabled half dormer with a plank door, and a gabled dormer is situated to the right of center. The stables have a five-bay curved principal roof, and there is a 19th-century extension on the left side.
