Description

Probably originally three houses, now combined into a single dwelling. The building likely dates from the late 17th century, with a later 19th-century extension to the left. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick detailing and has an old plain-tile roof, with a brick ridge stack located to the right of the centre. The main part of the house is two storeys high with a five-window front, set at a right angle to the street. A 20th-century plank door is set in the 19th-century extension to the left. The windows on the front include a two-light casement on the left, a three-light casement to the left of centre, and three further two-light wood casements across the centre and to the right. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors. The first-floor windows consist of a three-light casement on the left, a two-light casement to the right of centre, and another two-light casement on the right. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest. The 19th-century extension to the left is built of limestone rubble with red brick dressings and is single-storey with an attic, featuring a two-window front. It has two two-light wood casements and two gabled dormers.
