Description

The Old Bakehouse is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The exterior is cement render, likely on brick, with a thatched half-hipped roof and a brick end stack to the left. The original section is single-storey and attic, with a two-window front. There’s a blocked doorway in the centre, a three-light casement window to the left, and a two-light casement window to the right. Two swept dormers light the attic space. The interior has not been inspected.

To the left of the original section is a two-storey, two-window addition. It features a plank door to the right and a three-light casement window to the left. A three-light casement window is located on the first floor to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. This addition has a Welsh slate roof. A single-storey wing extends to the left, containing two three-light casement windows. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
