Description
The stables, located approximately 15 meters west of Number 84 (Crowmarsh Battle Farmhouse), are likely from the mid 18th century. They feature a rendered base with coursed limestone rubble and knapped flint bands, accented by brick dressings. The building has a plain-tile half-hipped roof and is a single storey with an attic, comprising a four-window range. There are five stable doors at the center, flanked by two 2-light casements on each side. A stable door is positioned to the right. The eaves are adorned with a dentil cornice, and there is a gabled half dormer at the center with a plank door. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is part of a notable group of farm buildings.
