Description
The Old Mill House is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 18th century. It features a coursed limestone rubble base, red brick walls, and a plain-tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The building has a double-depth plan, stands two storeys high with an attic, and has a five-window range. The central entrance consists of a two-panel door topped by a decorative overlight, framed by stone Doric pilasters that support a cornice. All window openings contain 16-pane unhorned sashes. There is a brick band that runs between the ground and first floors, and a moulded wooden cornice at the eaves. The attic includes two flat-roofed dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
