Description

This barn, located approximately 35 meters northwest of York Farmhouse, is likely from the late 17th century. It features a painted stone and brick base, large timber-framing, weatherboarding, and a corrugated iron roof. The barn has five bays and includes outshuts at the rear. There is a hipped midstrey at the center of the rear. The roof is a double Queen-post design with wind braces, although some common rafters are missing or have been replaced. This building is included for its group value.
