Description
Blissets is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It features a rendered base, large timber-framing, and rendered infill, topped with a thatched roof that has a catslide on the left return. The house has a brick ridge stack at the center and an end stack on the left. It is a single storey with an attic and has a four-window range positioned at right angles to the street. There is a central porch with a hipped plain-tile roof, and a 20th-century plank door located on the right return. The windows are irregularly arranged casements, and there are three swept half-dormers. The right return attic has a jetty, and there is an angled bay on brackets at the attic gable end featuring a Queen-post roof truss. The interior has not been inspected.
