Description

York Farm Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the north side of York Road in West Hagbourne. It features large timber framing with rendered infill and a thatched roof that is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right. The cottage has a brick ridge stack at the center and an end stack on the right. The layout follows a 2-unit lobby-entry plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a plank door, flanked by three-light leaded casements on both sides. There are also two three-light casements on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
