Description

This barn, located approximately 20 meters east of Gatehampton Farmhouse, likely dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of flint with brick banding and quoining, topped with a plain tile roof. The barn features five bays and an aisle, with a hipped midstrey at the center that has plank doors. The roof is hipped, and there is a weathervane at the center of the ridge. The rear and right-hand return are finished with timber framing and weatherboarding. Inside, there is a queen post roof.
