Description
Little Lane Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with a 20th-century addition on the right. It features a painted brick plinth and large timber framing with painted brick and rendered infill, topped by a thatched roof. There is a 20th-century rebuilt brick stack on the left end and a brick ridge stack to the right of the center. The cottage is two stories high and has a four-window range. A plank door is located at the center, and the windows are mostly irregularly placed 3-light wood casements. The rear and left side have timber framing with brick and rendered infill. Inside, there is a straight flight of stairs from the 20th century, a queen post roof, and an open fireplace on the ground floor to the left. The building is noted for its group value.
