Description

Orchard Cottage is a house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It has a painted brick plinth and timber framing with painted brick infill. The roof is thatched, with a half-hipped form, and a painted brick ridge stack is centrally located. The house follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan. It is a single storey building with an attic, and has a two-window front. A central plank door provides access, with six-pane windows situated to the right and left of centre. A two-light casement window is located to the left. Two swept dormers are present in the roof. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
